Managing Course Content

Follow these sequential steps to effectively manage your course content:

  1. Step 1:

    • Go to the Dashboard, click on the Courses menu, select List Courses, and choose a course.
    • In the course list, under the Actions column, click on ••• and select Edit.
  2. Step 2:

    • Start by clicking on New Section and then select the Pencil 🖊 icon to begin crafting a section.
  3. Step 3:

    • Enter the desired section title and click Update.
  4. Step 4:

    • Click on + Add Lesson to introduce individual lessons.
  5. Step 5:

    • Select the desired lesson and click on lesson.
  6. Step 6:

    • Input the lesson title, modify the image if necessary, and finalize by clicking Update.
    • Optionally, enable the Preview button for a preview lesson designation.
  7. Step 7:

    • Tap on the Video button to upload a video file.
  8. Step 8:

    • Click on the and choose the appropriate video file.

    • Ensure your video meets the supported formats: .mp4, .webm, .mov, and does not exceed 1024MB (1GB) in size.

    • Finalize, by click Upload Video to start upload the video.

  9. Step 9:

    • Wait for the upload to complete, as indicated by the encoding process.

    Video Format:

    • Resolution: 1920 pixels X 1080 pixels
    • Duration: Less than 15 minutes
    • Bitrate: Between 8Mbps - 12Mbps
    • Encoder: H.264 or H.265
  10. Step 10:

    • Click the folder 📁 icon button to upload supplementary resources.
  11. Upload and Specify Resource Files:

    • Choose the desired file type (.zip, .txt, .pdf, .pptx, .docs).
    • Max file size: 100MB.
    • For audio resources, acceptable formats include .mp3, .aac, .wav.
  12. Delete Lessons:

    • To remove a lesson, click on the trash 🗑️ icon.
    • Note: Deleted lessons are permanently removed after 30 days.

Additional Notes:

  • The video encoding duration varies based on video length.
  • You can continue other tasks during the encoding process.
  • Encoding a video may require considerable time due to continuous processing.
